Flos Viscontea – Lámpara colgante

Architectural gesture that elevates the entire environment

As an architect, I'm constantly drawn to pieces that balance form, function, and narrative—and the Viscontea pendant, designed by Castiglioni in 1960, is exactly that. This is not just a light fixture; it's a sculptural statement. Its cocoon-like structure, created through an innovative resin-spraying technique over a steel frame, diffuses light in a way that transforms any space into something ethereal. It evokes both modernist rigor and organic softness. It's iconic yet understated, a timeless design that feels as relevant today as it did decades ago. #sweepstakes
