?This is a system of reflectors conceived as a contem- porary revisiting of Archimedean and Platonic light sources and is available in the suspension, wall and ceiling versions. The entire system was conceived with a close focus on optimized appliance efficiency, using LED and fluorescent sources (circle bulb) set within a removable ring. The 30mm reflector is perceived from the outside as a faceted monomaterial solid, and conceals a high-performance optical unit made of next-generation materials: an inner clear methacrylate body coated with a 98% reflection coefficient alu- minium skin. When the shell appears as a compact solid, the light output is collected and redirected towards the environment. The suspension version has a central hole on the top of the shell and a clear neck that carries and diffuses indirect light across the environment. The optical unit, apparently compact, actually unveils a rational building project, based on an inner distribution infrastructure for feeding and a building intelligence that allows quick and easy inspection.
